FIRST IMPRESSIONS VISUAL: Just one quick look at Will will tell you that he's got to be a religious person. His garb is quite striking and detailed, and easily the first thing one might take in...either that or the massive cross-shaped staff that he sometimes wields. Will is on the shorter side for an adult man at 5'6" (168cm) with an average build. He has shoulder-length wavy hair of a dirty blonde color, with glasses framing his gray eyes. He'll sometimes go without the hat that matches the rest of his wardrobe. At a glance, Will looks pretty harmless and unassuming...but that's only at a glance. Actually interacting with him is a different story. FASHION: Will wears a variety of religious garbs and doesn't really branch out beyond that. His clothing is well-kept; you won't find any dirt on them or damage to the material. Presentation is important for a priest! DEMEANOR: Any inclinations that Will is your average peaceful, noble priest go right out the window as one gets to know him. He's very casual if not surprisingly vulgar for a man of the cloth, and can be quite cold toward people if he doesn't find them worth his time. But for the most part, he's relatively easy-going. Bring up the subject of monsters though, and the absolute fanatic within Will will make himself very apparent. He's extremely excitable when it comes to monsters and the study of them, to an obnoxious and genuinely creepy degree. Good luck getting him to shut up about his studies if you manage to get him going. Oh, and it's best if you don't mention harming monsters in front of him. Better yet, don't actually do that in his presence. Underneath the fanatic lies something much, much worse and much more dangerous. You do not want to make Will angry. VOICE: Will is voiced by Daisuke Kishio. As described in the demeanor section, Will comes off as incredibly casual for a priest. This is reflected in his voice- usually light and cheerful and not very serious. He uses a lot of contractions and slang, and doesn't find much issue with expletives. When he's in Monster Fanatic Mode, he speaks with a lot of passion and excitement. It's obvious when he's speaking like this, he's genuinely happy and very much in his comfort zone. But again, this can be seen as pretty creepy...and the way he tends to laugh when he's excited about monsters doesn't help things. The only time he'll drop his casual and personable tone is when someone pisses him off, in which his voice gets icy cold and quite honestly, genuinely scary. Let's hope circumstances never bring that out, shall we? ABILITIES COMBAT. Will is proficient with both a staff and a sword. His weapon, The Cross, is a combination of the two. Despite the impression that his appearance and profession may give, Will is actually very skilled in combat and can hold his own in most situations. He's no squishy mage, in other words! HEALING. What sort of magic priest would Will be if he didn't have healing capabilities? Will's healing magic is quite strong- he's able to heal more than one person at a time if the need arises. His healing covers superficial to more involved wounds, but can only mitigate massive damage. MAGIC. Alongside his healing capabilities, Will can also use magic with a staff. The element of his magic is classified as Dark despite his profession as a priest...though he's not your average priest so it's very much fitting. His magic isn't incredibly strong but it is quite potent against certain enemies and can limit their own capabilities if it hits them. INVENTORY MR. PROWRS. Will's pet monster. Takes refuge inside of a toolbox, and is rarely seen in its entirety. His presence is marked by his gleaming eyes coming from within the box. Will named him after the noise he makes: "Prowrrr!" THE CROSS. Will's enormous wand that conceals a sword. Its hilt resembles a cross. "While it can certainly vanquish evil, this weapon has also been used to mark graves." MONSTER STUDY JOURNAL. Arguably Will's most prized possession. A compendium of monster information that has been carefully curated by Will over the years. It is truly a blessed day when he can add a new entry to this journal. CRIMINAL LIST. A confidential list of people of power who have committed horrible crimes. They are generally Will's targets for assassination.
